My family and I had a wonderful stay with Elsie at her beautiful Rensburghoek Guest Farm. From the moment we arrived, Elsie welcomed us with such warmth that we immediately felt at home. The farm is set in a stunning location nestled in the mountains, offering peace, beauty, and a true escape.
Elsie went above and beyond to make our stay special—she even invited us to watch the milking of their two dairy cows and gave our daughter an unforgettable experience feeding the calves.
We loved every moment of our visit and will definitely be returning.

Turning off the main road onto a forest track made one wonder where on earth does this lead to… fear not! Rensburghoek comes into view and the adventure begins! Staying in the Captain’s Cabin is a must for anyone remotely interested by a nautical life. The unique shower was interesting and effective!
The extensive and lovely grounds need to be explored and appreciated. The main house offers a sumptuous and comfortable place to relax with much to entertain the guests.
It was the food experience which will linger in my mind for ever, traditional African food and so much of it that even my appetite struggled to cope!
Thanks to the friend and neighbours who all worked together to create a fascinating holiday experience. If ever I manage to return to the area, it is the only place to stay!!

From the moment we arrived, we truly felt at home. Elsie and her family genuinely mean it when they say, "Feel the way of life." We got to experience real farm life, and every little detail showed their love and care.
The food? Absolutely fantastic! (Have I mentioned how delicious it was?) The rooms are beautiful, everything is spotless, and the atmosphere is just perfect. You get that personal touch, yet plenty of space to relax – the perfect balance.
And then there are the animals! The kitten cuddles were definitely a highlight, but all the animals made the stay extra special.
A heartfelt thank you for the warm hospitality, the great conversations, and all the thoughtful little touches. We would choose this guest farm again in a heartbeat!

Die natuurskoon, plante en rustigheid maak weer mens se siel vol.
Elsie gaan uit haar pad om mens tuis te laat voel.
Die ervaring met die perde was ook baie goed, ons v Maluti FM waardeer alles baie.

Very friendly host. Had a peaceful sleep and enjoyed a great breakfast after the cows were milked - kids enjoyed the experience. Thank you
